Hi, I’m Mila — the hands and heart behind Mila the Crafted, a small handmade workshop based in Guangzhou, China, dedicated to the art of customizing authentic Labubu figures.

My journey with Labubu and Pop Mart began in late 2021, when I welcomed my very first figure: Labubu THE MONSTERS – Mini Series. That tiny character sat quietly on my shelf, followed me on trips, and with its cheeky little grin, reminded me how even the smallest things can bring unexpected joy.

After graduating from art school, I began customizing Labubus just for fun while searching for a job. When the Labubu Macarons Series launched, I found myself diving deeper — reworking the fur, repainting the faces, and completely reimagining each figure’s personality. My friends loved the results and soon started requesting custom pieces of their own. That’s when my hobby turned into something more.

From there, I began taking commissions, exploring new fabrics, fine-tuning my techniques, and connecting with other like-minded creators. I’ve made it a priority to collaborate only with those who value craftsmanship, originality, and heart as much as I do.

Today, Mila The Crafted is a boutique, heart-driven brand that releases only a small number of handcrafted Labubu pieces each year. One of my proudest creations, "Little Huihui ", represents not just a milestone in my career, but a perfect blend of imagination, detail, and soul. Each figure begins with a genuine Macaron base, a few simple materials, and is brought to life through hours of sewing, painting, and love.
